I wanted you to be among the first to know: earlier today I announced my 2012 candidacy for the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors to 200 friends and supporters in Palo Alto.
County government deals with some of the toughest challenges facing our region and our state, including health care, welfare, public safety and land use. And service on the Board offers the opportunity to serve the 1.7 million residents of Santa Clara County.
