The 11th Senate District includes portions of Santa Clara, San Mateo and Santa Cruz Counties. About 58% of voters qualified to vote in the March Democratic Primary live in Santa Clara County, 22% live in San Mateo County and 20% live in Santa Cruz County.

The district includes the following cities and unincorporated areas:

Santa Clara: Campbell, Cupertino, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, San Jose (Part - see San Jose detail map), Cambrian Park, Fruitdale (Part), Loyola, and Stanford.

San Mateo: Atherton, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos, Emerald Lake Hills, North Fair Oaks, and West Menlo Park.

Santa Cruz: Capitola, Santa Cruz, Aptos, Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Live Oak, Opal Cliffs, Soquel, and Twin Lakes.
